About the Site:

Desirable.co.uk is a British-based website which strives to find the best jewellery, fashion and homewares available online. Our aim is to feature brands, products and stores which are based in the United Kingdom, and which have online shopping capabilities. We’re interested in local designers, e-entrepreneurs, high-street brands, high fashion labels and even the big department stores! If they’ve got a web-shop and they’re British, we’ll feature their products.

We know that half the fun of buying fashion and homewares magazines is browsing through all the themed spreads and shoots, and that discovering products that are fashionable AND affordable is a bit of a thrill. Thats why we use themed posts to highlight our finds, and why we try to cover a broad spectrum of prices in the products we showcase. We’re also passionate about being eco-friendly, and we try to incorporate this ethos into the products featured as much as possible.

Amy is a twenty-something Australian who has trouble staying in one place for too long. At present, she flits between Brisbane (Australia), and North Wales and Edinburgh in the UK. A freelance writer and soon to be Masters research student, Amy is passionate about supporting local designers and doing her bit to make the world that little bit ‘greener’. A self-confessed shoe and jewellery addict, she is also an avid collector of books and unnecessary home decor. Having done time as a fashion sales assistant and book-store employee, amongst other things, Amy’s seen her fair share of desirable products.
