Hooray! The 2010 UK IKEA Catalogue is FINALLY online! Products will start to drift into stores all over the UK over the next few weeks, with the official launch in September. Bring on the flat pack brigade!
EDIT: UK IKEA 2010 CATALOGUE NOW ONLINE!!!
I have been waiting for months for IKEA to release their 2010 catalogue, and unfortunately I’ll have to wait a little longer for the UK version – it comes out in September. What I can reveal, however, is that the US IKEA 2010 Catalogue has just been released, and generally speaking most of the stuff that is available State-side will become available here too in the coming months. Hooray!
Furniture 123 have got some awesome items in their Summer Clearance Sale, and it’s not the usual riff-raff you expect to see in the bargain bin either – they’ve got some unusual furnishings on offer that would liven up even the most stuffy of spaces:

The weather here in Edinburgh has been particularly lovely of late, blue skies and a warm almost-summer breeze, and as a result everyone has been spending as much time as possible outside. I’ve been noticing beautifully designed indoor-outdoor seating lately, such as:

Top: Canasta Sofa from bebitalia.it
Middle (left): PS Brygga Swivel Chair from Ikea.co.uk
Middle (right): PS Selma Chair from Ikea.co.uk
Bottom: Yellow Aluminium Loveseat from Gardenhouse.com
It’s slowly slipping away into autumn, so why not make the most of it while it lasts?
